The Stroke Diaries is free to read and independently run by me, a stroke survivor.
Any contributions go towards keeping the newsletter going so we can have more fun, build more community, and avoid filling each edition with ads.
Why free to read?
I’ve thought a lot about this.
Some writers say you should paywall your newsletter from the start. Others say to only do it when you have ‘X’ subscribers.
But here’s the thing. Being a stroke survivor already costs so much.
And if you’re like me, it may already have cost you your job, your income, your relationships, your sleep, and even your sense of self-worth.
So, the last thing I want is for the price to be a deterrent to you accessing a resource you’d benefit from.
Therefore, I’ve decided to keep every article free for 28 days.
After 28 days have passed, the article will be available only to paid subscribers.
I think that’s fair.
All you have to do is make sure you subscribe to get every article, hot off the press, for free when it’s released.
but, if you can afford it…
If you’re at a time where paying feels right, and only if you can afford to, I can offer you two options:
You can become a paid supporter by subscribing either monthly or annually using the link below:
Or, if that’s not for you, you can just make a one-off donation at this stage, using the link below:
Any support is appreciated, but if the time is not right for you to contribute financially, there is another way to help: share this newsletter with anyone who would benefit from reading it.
